"Beginner Session" @ 9:30 AM
"Main Session" @ 10:30 AM

Topic:
Extreme Genealogy"
Facilitator : Jim Benedict

The Saturday meeting of the Genealogy Computing Group (Computer SIG) will host an experimental hangout workshop, testing the advantages of Google+ for attendees. The workshop will be in our "Extreme Genealogy" format. Please bring your laptops if you have one, but come anyway as it is not required to participate.  Your task: you have 1-1/2 hours to research and create the family tree of a mystery but famous Canadian person. This will be our third such workshop. Join us and see how sharp your research skills are for the challenge.

We will also be trying out some video chatting over the Internet, so those people bound at home can still join the meeting remotely.  Should be a hoot.  Come on down on Saturday, December 14th to the LDS Family History Centre on 17th Avenue and 19A Street, S.W.  Use the south side parking lot and enter the nearest door on the left.  If you are at home and have a webcam, log into your Google Plus account and look for Jim Benedict in the hangout area.
